I wanted you all to know that “Socrates, the sprinting snail of Sorrento” is free to download today Monday 15 July and tomorrow Tuesday 16 July. As the title of this post suggests, I am officially “Big in Japan!” having had the book downloaded once this morning in the land of the rising sun. Also, Kindle Direct Publishing have finally managed to get the book listed under E-books – Children’s Books, so at least we are now appearing in the correct category.

I have been reading up on how to use an Amazon programme called “Createspace” to actually turn Socrates into a real, physical book that you can order like any other. The process is averagely difficult and does cost as well but I think I’ll just soldier on with it so that all of you out there with no access to a Kindle, a computer or a Tablet, will be able to get your hands on a copy. With a bit of luck we could have it ready by the end of the month.

There is of course no truth in the rumour that “Socrates, the sprinting snail of Sorrento” was not written by George G. Burton (who doesn’t exist) but by J. K. Rowling. But if the word spreads………! Please remember to review the book if you choose to download and read it as good reviews are precious to an aspiring author.
